Learning objectives, exercises, FSTD qualification and the instructor role follow the operator or ATO syllabus, aircraft type requirements and applicable instructor privileges. The session remains within valid privileges, recency and the training envelope.
The briefing clarifies learning objectives, standards, roles and scenario conditions. Scenarios are realistic, operationally relevant and not based on surprises that create negative training; train-to-proficiency is supported where applicable.
The instructor creates a climate conducive to learning, manages time and workload, integrates Threat and Error Management and CRM, and intervenes proportionately without unnecessarily taking over the learning experience.
The debrief starts with facts and observable behaviour, promotes trainee self-analysis and links technical decisions to non-technical skills. Corrective actions and follow-up objectives are recorded; assessment follows only the approved standard and methodology.

Regulatory positioning
V-tology provides simulator and ground instruction only within the applicable instructor privileges and the arrangements of the operator or ATO. The organisation determines the approved training programme, FSTD use, competency or assessment standard, records and any training credit.
The website does not grant a type rating, licence endorsement, proficiency check or other formal credit. Where training leads to formal credit, this occurs solely under the responsibility and approval of the competent operator or ATO and within the instructor’s valid privileges.
Part-FCL, operational suitability data, FSTD qualifications and organisational procedures may change. The current rules, approved syllabus and documented instructor privileges always prevail when training is delivered.
